ILLUMINATE
We are made of stardust. A smile, a seemingly mundane action, a smile can brighten up another’s day. The magical Neuroscience behind the smile is deep and extensive. This is an animated short film revering the beauty of a smile and the reaction inside the body that goes on to produce the smile on the mouth. A flow showing the test tubes with neurotransmitters in the laboratory of our brain that stars a chain reaction with the sparkle of a star, the electric current, the neural synapse firing from the optic nerve after having seen someone smile. This is about the beauty of a contagious smile.
Inspired by the style of Tim Burton, this short was created with Procreate on an iPad and edited on iMovies on a laptop.
